GENERAL TASTING NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Are you ready for a BIG, WET, smack of full-frontal agave?\u00a0 If so, then hunker down with any Rancho (vintage) of Tequila Ocho<\/strong> blanco.\u00a0 This blanco is an agave lover\u2019s best wish fulfillment.\u00a0 It just can\u2019t be overstated how much thick agave flavor is packed into every sip from beginning to end.\u00a0 Though individual Ranchos bring specific flavor notes to the table (\u201cLos Mangos\u201d<\/span> for instance introduces a tropical honeyed mint to the loads of agave) the agave is always up-front and commanding attention.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve never tasted cooked agave look no further.\u00a0 Educate your palate.\u00a0 THIS is the agave taste you\u2019ll be wanting to find in all other brands hereafter.<\/p>\n

The aged varieties of Ocho<\/strong> feature an extremely light touch with the introduction of wood.\u00a0 It\u2019s a barely discernable difference between the blanco and the repo \u2013 and from the repo to the anejo.\u00a0 There IS some sweetness introduced and a bit of \u201cpolishing\u201d to the flavor, but the strong agave core of the flavor profile remains intact and ever-present.\u00a0 Look for the introduction of an \u201cExtra Anejo\u201d<\/span> to the product line in the coming months.\u00a0 This \u201cXA\u201d will bring a bit more of the familiar vanilla and oak flavors to the \u201cpalate-party\u201d again- \u00a0without diminishing the agave presence at the core of Tequila Ocho<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
