GENERAL TASTING NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare yourself for a spicy black (and white!) pepper ride through some very nicely balanced agave flavors on this blanco.\u00a0 Lippy<\/strong> was happily surprised at the lingering pepper finish.\u00a0 Another singular attracter was the \u201colive brine\u201d nose that invited multiple sniffs and hovered above the glass in a seductive way.\u00a0 The repo\u2019s addition of French Oak<\/span> introduced some sweet wood to the flavor party, but ultimately left Th\u2019 Lip<\/strong> wondering where that wooded road would lead.\u00a0 It didn\u2019t seem to stop and pronounce itself \u201cfinished\u201d.\u00a0 Rather, the repo seemed a bit timid in its acetoned assertion of individuality and became simply a blanco with a floating layer of wood on top.\u00a0 The anejo, however, was nothing BUT assertive in its flavor statements.\u00a0 This finely balanced elixir featured sweet hints of pineapple, spice, and a nice tang.\u00a0 Lippy<\/strong> complimented this 18 month-aged anejo as being well on its way to becoming an \u201cextra anejo\u201d in taste and complexity.\u00a0 Definitely \u201cTV-watching\u201d worthy!<\/p>\n
