Company LTD\u201d or \u201cImported For The U.S. By Fielding &amp; Jones LTD\u201d.\u00a0 These were the two original importers of <strong>Chinaco<\/strong> and both of these companies were shipping stellar juice.\u00a0 But what about the CURRENT expressions of <strong>Chinaco<\/strong>, you say?\u00a0 Watch the show and be comforted that though the newest bottles have a slightly different \u201cedge\u201d to them, they are completely worthy and worth your seeking them out!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">TEQUILA Details:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>BRAND<\/strong>: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinacotequila.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CHINACO<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>NOM:<\/strong> 1127<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>AGAVE        SOURCE:<\/strong> TAMAULIPAS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chinacotequila.com\/ageVerify.php\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1360\" title=\"Chinaco-Bottles-Trio-LR\" src=\"https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Chinaco-Bottles-Trio-LR.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Chinaco-Bottles-Trio-LR.jpg 480w, https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/Chinaco-Bottles-Trio-LR-288x300.jpg 288w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">GENERAL        TASTING NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chinaco<\/strong> has always had a reputation as a \u201cfuerte-tasting\u201d (strong\/macho) brand.\u00a0 We\u2019re happy to say that this tradition continues to this day.\u00a0 The blanco has a sort of fruit-like (pear?) attack on the mid palate with some spicy heat being generated in the back of the throat.\u00a0 As more blanco is consumed, this heat starts to have more and more interplay on the tongue until it creates a sort of NEW flavor which combines the two elements!\u00a0 A neat trick, <strong>Chinaco<\/strong>.\u00a0 The reposado is a wholly different beast.\u00a0 It brings on a thick, solid plank of spice that is wonderfully integrated and balanced.\u00a0 It\u2019s very hard to discern individual flavors in this solid \u201cchunk\u201d of flavor.\u00a0 Rather, the repo just coats the mouth and throat with a full blast of spicy flavor spikes that are at once buttery and jagged.\u00a0 A dichotomy to be sure, but one that is ultimately completely pleasing.\u00a0 The anejo introduces both citrus and vanilla to the \u201ctaste party\u201d, though there is an acrid, peppery-vegetal underlying flavor that is (surprisingly) quite unbalanced.\u00a0 It\u2019s as if the two flavor groups are pasted on top of each other rather than being wholly integrated like the blanco and repo.\u00a0 Not our favorite expression, this anejo.\u00a0 Finally we come to the 5-year extra anejo, <strong>\u201cNegro\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is a product that\u2019s aged in multiple kinds of barrels over its \u201clifetime\u201d and has the curious and pleasing trick of presenting a full-bore mid-palate attack as well as a deep finish, but having little to no back-of-the-tongue stimulation.\u00a0 This creates a sort of on-off flavor visual in the mouth!\u00a0 It sounds more complicated than it is, and ultimately this interplay between regions of the palate are (again) a great trick created by the <strong>Negro\u2019s<\/strong> Master Distiller.\u00a0 This is very refined tequila that rewards slow and considered sipping.\u00a0 Enjoy with abandon!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>FLAVOR       Profiles (out of a possible 4 points)<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1359\" title=\"ChinacoIconKey_01\" src=\"https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/ChinacoIconKey_01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"422\" height=\"825\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/ChinacoIconKey_01.jpg 422w, https:\/\/tequilawhisperer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/11\/ChinacoIconKey_01-153x300.jpg 153w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 422px) 100vw, 422px\" \/><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Music      Picks From This Show:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My Cello&#8221;
