Noble <\/strong>was <strong>Lippy\u2019s<\/strong> very FIRST gourmet tequila purchase as a neophyte tequila-fan!\u00a0 The flavor profile has changed over the life of this brand (approx. 15 years) but in a way that has amplified and fine-tuned many of the flavors that were present right from the start.<\/p>\n<p>In the current line of products, look for hints of smoke, grass, pepper, mango, and a full flourish of juicy agave.\u00a0 <strong>Casa Noble Crystal<\/strong> (blanco) has always had a very singular taste, and the current product has the vegetal and somewhat bitter core of this flavor turned way up \u201cin the mix\u201d.\u00a0 <strong>Lippy\u2019s<\/strong> favorite age in the current line is the <strong>Reposado<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 Aged a full 364 days in French white oak barrels, the repo features a magnificent nose of vanilla and sweet grass.\u00a0 The flavor is at once loud, complicated, and rich.\u00a0 Look for notes of chocolate and citrus in addition to a \u201cfudgy vanilla\u201d.\u00a0 The <strong>Anejo<\/strong> takes a lot of the repo\u2019s flavor notes and turns down their volume, while adding a lot of other complex flavor notes to the mix.\u00a0 You get a more subtle m\u00e9lange of earth, fruit, spices and mostly deep, rich unsweetened chocolate (yum!)\u00a0 Buy all three ages and spend a few months deciding your future as you sip through
