GENERAL TASTING NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

KAH<\/strong> starts out with a sweet spicy take on a traditional lowlands blanco<\/strong> taste profile.\u00a0 You\u2019ll sniff anise and musty lemon on the nose \u2013 then move on to a nicely cooked agave gift on the mid-palate.\u00a0 Though the mouth feel and flavor \u201cfootprint\u201d feels a bit thin, in general this is a solid blanco.\u00a0 The reposado<\/strong> brings a lot of alcohol heat with its custom, 110-Proof <\/strong>alcohol kick.\u00a0 Only the repo is over-proofed (the other ages are locked in at the standard 80-proof).\u00a0 To try and balance the high alcohol cloud (and its numbing effects) the KAH<\/strong> repo features a heavily wooded sweet tang .\u00a0 This makes the repo a great cocktail mixer, but a difficult sipper as the alcohol overpowers all other flavors.\u00a0 Use it as a party conversation piece, but make sure to pour it sparingly and only AFTER having tasted the more subtle offerings at your bar.\u00a0 KAH\u2019s<\/strong> real promise is fulfilled in their exquisite anejo<\/strong>.\u00a0 Though the \u201cflavor footprint\u201d remains a bit compressed, there is a lot of interest, complexity and balance offered in this anejo.\u00a0 Strains of vegetal \u201cumami\u201d<\/strong> and mushroom are paired with some dialed-back citrus.\u00a0 This one\u2019s a keeper folks!\u00a0 Guess you\u2019d better buy all three ages of KAH<\/strong> because the bottles are so damned beautiful as a set.\u00a0 SalUd!<\/p>\n
