NOTES:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Like a shining shard of black onyx found on the Jaliscan desert floor, <strong>Baluarte<\/strong> tequila delivers a bright tingle of pure highlands spice with major agave and some spiky heat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Th\u2019 Lip<\/strong> singled out the <strong>reposado<\/strong> as a great \u201csocial tequila\u201d.\u00a0 This age will be great for bringing to parties and conversing with a special someone in the kitchen or on the couch(!)\u00a0 It\u2019s got a wonderful black pepper note which floats above the \u201csmiling wood\u201d bottom end while maintaining the heat and spice of the <strong>blanco<\/strong>.\u00a0 This is one easy drinking <strong>repo<\/strong> with a great balance of close-flavors.\u00a0 You\u2019ll be drinking half the bottle before you realize how much is gone!<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> blanco<\/strong> strips the wood away and leaves the palate in a brighter, sharper, grip of highlands sweet spice and heat.\u00a0 Look for a really long-lasting finish and a wonderful mouthfeel that is at once light and fiery. \u00a0While BOTH ages were completely pleasing and made your <strong>TEQUILA WHISPERER<\/strong> smile wide, it was the <strong>blanco <\/strong>which slightly edged out the<strong> repo<\/strong> which after a bit of sustained sipping seemed just a hair flaccid compared to the
