style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">GENERAL TASTING NOTES:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pura Vida<\/strong> brings a bouquet of floral and spice elements to the taste party.\u00a0 The<strong> Silver<\/strong> in particular features an extra \u201ccrisp\u201d and light flavor with sweet caramels and lavender notes along with a very spicy back-palate thrust.\u00a0 Look for a long and warm finish on this <strong>blanco<\/strong>, although your <strong>Lip <\/strong>found that ultimately the \u201chigh end\u201d of the tequila seemed to be pushed at the cost of losing<strong> <\/strong>some of the bass notes.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>&#8220;Gold&#8221; (reposado)<\/strong> brought an essence of vanilla and (predictably) oak into the mix, but there was also a quick hit of \u201cshrimp-grass\u201d on the initial attack which was ultimately off-putting.\u00a0 The <strong>repo<\/strong> tones down the sweetness considerably, so if you like a bit of bitter wood in your <strong>repo<\/strong> this will be complete <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Heaven<\/span> for you.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>anejo<\/strong> was where this brand (and <strong>NOM 1414<\/strong>) really shines.\u00a0 There is a lush and wonderfully balanced essence in the anejo which brings forth baskets of fruit, herbs, vanilla and even traces of coffee!\u00a0 This fruity and grassy herbaceous mix is a complete satisfaction event, and the price (around $40) makes this <strong>anejo<\/strong> a must-have in your collection.\u00a0 Nice work, <strong>Pura Vida!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">*Note:<\/span> <\/strong>After the show <strong>Lippy<\/strong> found out that <strong>Pura Vida<\/strong>
