7 Leguas_blanco, reposado, anejo, D’Antano & beyond! (episode 35) tequila review

Wow! Talk about a show that covers *almost* everything – then a little bit more! This 7 Leguas episode introduces David Grapshi (Tequila National Sales Manager for 7 Leguas) to our family of tequila aficionados. Th’ Lip was honored to host Sr. Grapshi and pepper him with all manner of questions; 7 Leguas-based and many that were more general, tequila history-centric.

It’s all here for you 7 Leguas freaks! Every question answered, no mysteries left unsolved. Lippy tastes the ENTIRE lineup from blanco to 5-year D’Antano extra anejo. Then, Maestro Grapshi pulls out a bottle from his personal stash: A single-barrel 8 year anejo! Watch in awe and wonder as Lippy manages (barely) to keep his cool and taste a once-in-a-lifetime glass of some astounding artisanal tequila. This is what makes life worth living, Folks! Come along for the ride!

  1. Hello,

I have searched far and wide for D’Antano in the US and, after some small success on Ebay, I do not have access to it anymore. Can anyone help me with a location for purchase?

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Sorry Alex, but that brand/age is illegal in the US. Ebay is going to be your best bet for a while.
We’re ALL sad about this reality, believe me…

  3. Lippy do they sell the D’Antano in Tijutana?Since it only sells in Mexico.I know they can’t sell it here because it comes in 740ml, but why do they sell the other bottles?

  4. Hola Carlos!
Yes I believe they DO sell D’Antano in Tijuana — but you’ll really need to SEARCH for it.
The other bottles are standard 750 ml sizes hence their ability to sell ’em in the U.S. As to WHY the D’Antano was bottle in that strange size…..?

    The WORLD has NO IDEA!!!

    :>

    Salud!
