Don Celso blanco takes NO PRISONERS in its full-bore abandoning of subtlety.  Watch out that you don’t get cut on the sharp and tangy spikes of spicy agave flavor on this one! The blanco also features a pleasing oily mouth that fades into a hint of anise and mint on the finish.  The reposado introduces a slather of sweet oak that is at once buttery with a coconut specter in the back of the mouth.  While the oak is very up-front in the taste, the alcohol spike is always present and unbelievably doesn’t affect the total balance of the product!  The anejo brings the oak flavor way down in the “mix”, and turns up the volume on a “brown” and pleasing bottom-end to the flavor.  Look for this anejo to be a nice companion through a long tasting session as its overall balance and flavor profile doesn’t get boring or oppressive over the long haul.  This is a VERY reasonably-priced brand, and you should absolutely be procuring a bottle of each age for you drinking collection!
